DIY Hand and Foot Soak

Hi everyone, How is it going? Today I am sharing another one of my favourite DIYs which is an easy to make DIY hand and foot soak. I find these soaks very relaxing and they help ease the muscle pain as well. So, if you have any sore muscles due to working out or walking or standing for longer hours or just tired or even stressed out then I am sure you’d find it very relaxing. This recipe is very simple and basic which doesn’t require so many ingredients. All the things I have used are easily available in India. So, let’s get started with the list of things required.

Things Required:

  • 5 tbsp. Epsom Salt
  • 2 tbsp. Himalayan Pink Salt
  • Some dried Rose / Marigold Petals or Lavender Buds ( You can also use a combination of different flowers as well but remember to use dried ones).
  • Optional – 4-5 drops of any Essential oil ( Rose, Lavender for floral soothing aroma, Citrus for a refreshing and lifting aroma or Mint for cooling.)

Preparation:

Add all the ingredients in a dry and clean bowl and stir well so that everything is mixed properly. That’s it. Your DIY hand and foot soak is ready and you can now transfer this in a clean glass jar. Always use a dry spoon to take out the required quantity.

To Use:

Add some of the salts to the warm water and give it a stir so that the salts start melting. Soak your hand/feet into this warm water until the water gets cold. This will help remove dirt from the skin and also eliminate toxins from the body. Apart from that, the magnesium present in the Epsom salt will ease the muscle pain, if any. This can be used once a week.

Tip: If you don’t have essential oil then you can use an oil diffuser or a scented candle for an even more relaxing experience.

I hope you find this helpful. And if you want to see more DIYs like this then follow me on Instagram as I share skin care and hair care related DIYs and some tips as well.
