Winter essentials series #2 Face

Hey friends,

How are you guys doing? I hope good. So I am here again and today I will discuss with you guys the second part of my winter essentials series i.e. for face. And if you haven’t checked the first part yet, here is the link to that post. And now let’s move on to the next part.

Face Exfoliators

  • Natural bath and body Charcoal & Lime face scrub

Oh my God! I am just obsessed with this scrub. I love it so much. Actually, I like any face product which contains activated charcoal. This scrub has charcoal and lime as main ingredients therefore it smells incredible. Charcoal helps in removing impurities such as dirt, blackheads and whiteheads and deep cleanses the pores. It’s not just a winter essential for me it’s actually an essential product for me throughout the year.

  • DIY Face scrub

If you guys have checked my last post then you must know that how much I love my DIY products especially skincare. And if you haven’t checked it yet then go check it now because I have shared a cool DIY body butter recipe in that post. And now one more DIY. I can’t decide which face scrub out of these two (NBB charcoal and lime and this DIY) is my most favorite. I love them both equally. Here is how you can make it.

In a bowl add 2 tbsp. of rice flour, 1 tbsp. of masoor dal (red lentil), 1 tsp. of gram flour, a pinch of turmeric, vitamin E oil and a few drops of your favorite essential oil. Mix everything well and store it in an airtight container. To use, just add enough water, rose water, milk or yoghurt to make a paste. You can use it twice a week.

Face Mask

  • Aroma Magic Activated Bamboo Charcoal Face pack

And one more charcoal product. Aroma Magic has superb skincare products. I have used three of their face washes and I love them all. I love this activated bamboo charcoal face pack as well. It cleanses out my face really well and tightens the pores. Also it leaves a glow on my face. 🙂 I think it’s suitable for all skin types because I have oily skin and it worked for my skin perfectly well. And my sister has dry sensitive skin and she used it and she also liked the results. Therefore, I highly recommend this face pack to people with any skin type.

Day Cream

  • Plum hello aloe day moisturizer

Like aroma magic this brand is also free from harmful chemicals, I believe. Plum has a great product range like green tea, kiwi, chocolate, etc. 😛 I really like this hello aloe day cream in the winters. It’s light weight and absorbs easily into the skin. It didn’t break me out and this one also has been used by my sister and it suited her as well. The only thing which I don’t like about this is that my face gets oily after a few hours in summer but it is perfect for me during winters.

Night Cream

  • Plum grapeseed and sea buckthorn nurturance night cream

Finally, the night cream. This is also from plum. It contains grapeseed oil which is suitable for oily skin as it helps in reducing pimples and acne scars and also tightens the skin. This is also very light weight and sinks into the skin easily. It suites my skin really well and doesn’t make it oily. This is definitely a must have for me because whenever I apply this in the night, I always wake up with healthy & glowing skin in the morning.

I’m obsessed with anything charcoal. It is truly the holy grail of facial products for me, and it has done such a great job with clearing up my skin. That charcoal and lime scrub sounds like such an interesting mix. Great suggestions, the winter can be so harsh for the skin sometimes. Best we take good care of it.
