DIY- Coffee body scrub

Hey guys,

Today’s post is not a review but a DIY. I am gonna tell you guys “how to make a coffee body scrub”. It will exfoliate and moisturize your skin at the same time. It leaves the skin ultra smooth and helps in toning it. It’s so easy to make and you will find almost all the ingredients at your home. You can use it 2-3 times a week.

For making this scrub, you will need the following ingredients:

  1. 1/2 cup of coffee grounds
  2. 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  3. 1 tsp. of cinnamon powder
  4. 2 tbsp. of coconut oil (or any other oil of your choice)
  5. 1 tbsp. grapeseed oil
  6. 1 capsule of vitamin E oil
  7. 5-6 drops of fragrance (optional)

The main ingredient is coffee which can help in slowly reducing the appearance of cellulite. It also helps in toning the skin especially around the thighs. The oils will help in replenishing moisture in your skin. Coffee grounds and brown sugar will exfoliate the skin. Cinnamon has lots of benefits for skin eg. it has antiseptic properties, softens and soothes dry skin, helps in treating acne, eczema etc. Coffee, cinnamon, coconut oil and grapeseed oil will together help in reducing the appearance of stretch marks over the time.

To make the scrub you just need to add all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well. You can make it as dry or oily as you like by just changing the quantity of oils. You can customize it by adding fragrance of your choice or skipping it. I chose cinnamon because I have added the cinnamon powder. And you can also add any oil of your choice but I would suggest coconut and grapeseed if you have stretch marks as these two help in reducing the appearance of stretch marks along with cinnamon.
